16-year-old charged with killing man who was found dead in Scotlandville home
BATON ROUGE - A teenager is facing one count of first-degree murder among other charges for killing a man inside his home earlier this month.
Baton Rouge Police say the 16-year-old is charged with killing 36-year-old Michael Allen, who was found in his home on Townsley Street Aug. 12. Investigators believe the killing stemmed from an ongoing domestic dispute.
Detectives say Allen had not been heard from for a few days before his body was discovered.

The suspect, who is not being identified due to his age, faces charges of first-degree murder, juvenile in possession of a firearm and as a fugitive from OJJ.
