15-year-old girl rescued during human trafficking bust

BATON ROUGE - Three people were arrested and a 15-year-old girl was rescued when East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputies busted a human trafficking operation.

On June 21 detectives located the girl during the course of an undercover operation with a woman, identified as 22-year-old Jennifer Anselmo, and a man, identified as 25-year-old Udraka Roberts-Bey.

The two were arrested and taken into custody once they were identified as the traffickers.

A third person, 20-year-old Skylar Harris, was also arrested as a part of an undercover "date."

The Department of Child and Family Services was contacted in regards to the 15-year-old girl who was rescued. DCFS will be working with the girl for services and assistance to return her to her home in Little Rock, AR.

Anselmo, is charged with possession of schedule I drugs, drug paraphernalia, prostitution, human trafficking of children and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.

Roberts-Bey is charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile, human trafficking of children, pandering, possession of Schedule IV drugs, contributing to delinquency of a juvenile and promoting prostitution. Harris was booked on a prostitution charge.
