13-year-old injured in accidental shooting on S. 16th Street
BATON ROUGE - The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating an accidental shooting that left a teenager injured Tuesday evening.
According to BRPD, the incident occurred in the 500 block of S. 16th Street near Government Street.
Sources say the victim, a 13-year-old, was shot in the leg. The injury appears to be non-life threatening, BRPD said.
