13-mile-long traffic jam complicated Friday commute home
BATON ROUGE - The Friday traffic fiasco returned this week with a traffic jam that stretched 13 miles.
An earlier crash slowed traffic on I-10 West from Bluebonnet to Highway 415 in West Baton Rouge. There were subsequent crashes in the jam that slowed traffic even more.
Eastbound traffic was not much better. Traffic built from west of Highway 415 to Perkins Road.
A crash on I-12 West slowed traffic from Jefferson Highway to the 10/12 Split.
Many surface streets were also slow for the Friday evening commute.
