#12 LSU women fall at NC State, 89-79
RALEIGH, NC - The LSU women(9-2) had their seven-game win streak snapped Friday night, with a 89-79 loss at North Carolina State.
The game was their final contest before a ten-day break for the holidays.
Theresa Plaisance led all Lady Tiger scores with 18 points and also added four rebounds on the night.
Jeanne Kenney chipped in 17 points as well, and freshman point guard Rina Hill also shined with 15 points against NC State.
In the end, the duo of Kody Burke(25 points) and Len'nique Brown(17 points) proved to be too much for the LSU defense on the road.
