100 gallons of fuel spilled on roadway
BATON ROUGE - Traffic fully reopened an I-10 exit ramp in East Baton Rouge Parish affected by a fuel spill Tuesday.
The spill happened after a wreck at the exit ramp from I-10 East onto Highland Road. According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department a piece of debris on the road punctured a diesel fuel tank of a truck, spilling more than 100 gallons of fuel onto part of the roadway.
The spill partially blocked the exit ramp off I-10 East for several hours, and was reopened just after noon.
