BATON ROUGE - At least one person has been confirmed dead after a wreck near the zoo Friday afternoon.

Four people were rushed to area hospitals. Their conditions were not released.

Specifics about the crash have also not been released.

The wreck is near the intersection of Hwy. 19 and Thomas Road just north of the airport. Multiple vehicles are involved.
