LAKE CHARLES - State police say an accident east of Lake Charles has left one person dead.

It happened Wednesday night on Interstate 10 when a Mazda traveling eastbound sideswiped another vehicle then hit a guardrail.

A passenger in the Mazda, 24-year-old Harmonie Roshell Frazier of Welsh, was ejected and died at the scene.
