NATCHITOCHES, La.- State police in Natchitoches Parish say one person was killed and three others injured in an accident on Louisiana Highway 6.

The Friday night accident happened when the driver of a westbound Chevrolet pulled to the shoulder and attempted a u-turn in front of a westbound Ford, causing a collision.

The driver of the Chevrolet, 56-year-old Patrick B. Sowell of Natchitoches, was killed.
