1 arrested in Assumption Parish stabbing
PAINCOURTVILLE - Sheriff's deputies in Assumption Parish said they arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that happened on Wednesday night.
Skiler Rhodes, 22, of Belle Rose was booked into the parish jail on an aggravated battery charge after investigators located him later on the night of the incident.
Deputies said they found the 23-year-old victim of the stabbing running down the road in the 6000 block of Highway 308 at around 7:30 p.m. The man was taken by AirMed to a hospital in Baton Rouge where he was treated for a stab wound and released later Wednesday night.
