1 arrest, 1 injury in shooting during King parade
JACKSON, Miss. - Jackson police said a 19-year-old man shot another man in the chest during the city's Martin Luther King Jr. parade.
The shooting happened just after noon Saturday.
Police said the victim, believed to be in his early 20s, was hospitalized at University of Mississippi Medical Center. His condition was not available. An unidentified suspect was captured and a weapon was recovered. No other injuries were reported.
