  • LSU students take part in football practice

    LSU football practice looked a lot like an open tryout as Les Miles welcomed general students for the teams final spring session.

    Student Appreciation Practice had a little bit of everything as the Tigers worked out like normal and then at the conclusion of practice encouraged several students to try their skills in basic football drills.

  • LSU baseball ends losing streak with win over McNeese State

    BATON ROUGE - The LSU bats came alive and Alex Bregman broke out of a personal hitting slump as the Tigers ended a four game losing streak with a 10-3 win against McNeese State Wednesday night. 

    Bregman smashed a 3-run home run in the 6th inning, giving the Tigers a lead they never relinquished, and ending a 4-43 slump.

    The Tigers also scored in double digit runs for the first time since March 7 vs. Purdue (10-0)
