Come see the largest fireworks show in the state!

USS KIDD: Star-Spangled Celebration
July 4, 12:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Join us for food, fun, and fireworks at the USS KIDD celebrates Independence Day. The day starts off with food and drink booths opening at 12:00 noon, followed by live music, a mock air attack on the KIDD, and much more! Then wrap up the night with a spectacular fireworks display over the Mississippi River.

Kenilworth Independence Day Parade
July 3, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Kenilworth Parkway
Kenilworth honors those who serve in our nation's armed forces with their parade. "Hometown Heroes" is their parade theme. Grand Marshall is Collis Temple, Jr, former LSU basketball great and BR civic leader. Thousands of spectators enjoy this event, showered with beads, trinkets, and candy by the many parade participants as all celebrate our nation's birthday.

L'Auberge Casino Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza
July 4, 9:30pm
Head to the rooftop pool for Sunset Society featuring music by DJ Triz-A and specialty cocktails beginning at 6pm. Visit Edge Bar, just off the casino floor, for live music by Soul Jukeboxx beginning at 8pm.

Fourth Fest
July 4, 4 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., Port Allen Riverfront
Free to the public and includes face painting, magicians, clowns and space walks for the children. Beverage & food vendors line the levee for all to enjoy. Live entertainment with several local bands allow the crowds plenty of dance music to enjoy before and after the spectacular fireworks show on the river.

Red, White & Blue Day
July 4, 10 a.m., Sidney Hutchinson Park, Walker
The Livingston Parish Veterans Association invites the public to Red, White & Blue Day at Sidney Hutchinson Park in Walker on July 4. Bring your own lawn chairs. The dedication ceremony with Chairman Lynn King and Sammi Rushing performing will be held at 1 p.m. at the pavilion. Field activities such as baseball games, sack races and tug of war will begin at 10 a.m. Food will be offered at 11 a.m. including shrimp, crawfish, hamburgers and more. Music will begin at 1 p.m. with Pro Sounds DJ's, Gene Williams' Highway 16 Band and RV Band. Fireworks will follow at dark. For more information, go to lpvaweb.org

July 4th in Springfield
July 4, 5 p.m., Springfield
The town will celebrate the Fourth of July with an antique car show in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot, 31660 La. 22; a Jeep 4x4 Show in the Springfield Drug Store parking lot, 31696 La. 22; and a Motorcycle Show between the Springfield Drug Store and Ace Hardware, 31718 La. 22. All shows will start at 5 p.m. The celebration will also have a Duck Dynasty Look-a-Like Contest at 7 p.m. near the Antique Car Show and a silent auction from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Winners of auction items must be present. The celebration will end with fireworks at 9 p.m. in Fayard's Field, on La. 1037.

Town of Livingston Fourth of July Celebration
July 4, 5 p.m., Circle Drive Park
The celebration will begin at 5 p.m. and end around 8:30 p.m. There will be rides, watermelon, kiddie games, music and fireworks.

July 4, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park
Veteran's Boat Parade begins at 5 p.m., and enjoy dancing on the boardwalk with fireworks over the bayou around 9 p.m. No ice chests, personal tents, pets or fireworks are allowed at this event. Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs.

31st False River Boat Parade and Pier Decorating Contest
July 4, Jarreau
The annual False River Boat Parade begins at 11 a.m. with the pier judging, followed by watercraft judging at noon, and the boat parade at 1 p.m. Trophies are awarded for multiple categories including Best Decorated Party Barge, Admiral's Trophy, Best Decorated Small Watercraft and Best Decorated Pier. 13th Annual Ponchatoula Area Recreation District #1 Firework Show
July 3, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., 19030 Ponchatoula Park Drive
Gates open at 5:00 PM, with live entertainment from Psycho Jo and the Justin Adams Band from 5:30 - 10:00 PM, and fireworks at dusk. There will also be concessions provided by the Ponchatoula High School Band Boosters.

Light Up the Sky
July 3, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Zemurray Park
Food, music and fireworks in the renovated Zemurray Park. Activities for children include inflatables, a rock-climbing wall, and the park train later in the evening.
