    PORT ALLEN - Eastbound lanes of I-10 closed for a portion of Sunday afternoon on the Mississippi River bridge due to an accident.

    Traffic backed up to LA-415.  There was also westbound traffic on the bridge, too.  At one point Sunday, traffic was slow to the I-10/I-12 split.

    Traffic lingered through the city until about sundown Sunday.
