    Coast Guard searching for missing shrimpers

    NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard is searching for two missing shrimpers last seen south of the Southwest Pass near the mouth of the Mississippi River.

    The Coast Guard says the shrimping vessel Christopher's Joy capsized around 4 p.m. Tuesday throwing the four crew members into the water.

    They say a boat in the area rescued two members of the shrimp boat crew.

    Man shot twice in Baton Rouge

    BATON ROUGE - Police say a man is in critical condition after he was shot twice in Baton Rouge late Tuesday night.

    The shooting happened just before midnight in the 200 block of West Johnson St.

    Police and EMS found the 36-year-old victim after shots rang out. The man's identity has not been released at this time. Investigators are working to find the shooter.
