    BRUSLY - D'Morea Wicks tallied almost 250 yards of offense and 3 touchdowns in the first half for Plaquemine, as the Green Devils built a big lead early and beat Brusly 47-20 Friday night. 

    Wicks had his way in the first half, running for 144 yards and 2 touchdowns, while adding 103 yards passing with another touchdown to build a 35-12 halftime lead. 

    Plaquemine improves to 2-0 on the season with the win.

  • Springfield pulls out Double OT thriller over Walker

    WALKER - Springfield pulling out a thriller in double overtime over Walker 43-42. 

    After the Wildcats pulled ahead 42-35, the Bulldogs scoring and deciding to go for two to end the game. 

    Walker led 27-0 in the 2nd quarter, but after a weather delay, Springfield stormed back by outscoring them 35-8 to force overtime.

    The final score may not indicate how close Scotlandville's 19-3 victory was, as McKinley two touchdowns called back due to penalties.
