    Armed robbery reported outside LSU dorm

    BATON ROUGE - LSU Police reported an armed robbery outside a dorm on the north side of the campus Friday evening.

    An emergency alert texted to students and faculty said it happened outside Kibry Smith Hall, in the parking lot.

    The alert said the robber was wearing a dark hooded sweater and fled on foot heading north, away from campus.

    Police are on the scene at this time. News 2 will have more details as they become available.
