A low pressure system is pulling Northeast off the Texas coast this morning and will bring warmth and moisture to Louisiana Monday and Tuesday in the form of rain. A cold front clears it all out by Tuesday afternoon.
TODAY: Cloudy and rainy. High of 75 with wind from the Southeast 5-10mph.
TONIGHT: Continued cloudiness with isolated showers through the night. Low near 60.
TUESDAY: Showers continue through the morning with a chance for thunderstorms as the front pushes through in the early afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s.
WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY: Sun returns to the area with only a few clouds lingering in the afternoons. High temperatures get to the middle and upper 60s and overnight lows only drop into the middle and upper 40s.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY: Clouds increase as another weather system brings in a chance for rain at 20-30 percent. Daytime highs climb into the mid 70s and overnight lows rise into the middle 50s.
SUNDAY & MONDAY: Mostly cloudy and still mild with highs in the upper 70s and overnight lows in the middle 50s.
TROPICS: Four days left in hurricane season 2012 and all is quiet.
