Early morning rain leaves us with some excess moisture today. It will manifest first by a low cloud deck and some patchy fog and then lift into some afternoon clouds mixed with sunshine. The damp will stick around today and tonight and drop into fog by early Friday morning.
TODAY: Sun and clouds mix and we'll get a high of 74 out of that. More sunshine in the afternoon.
TONIGHT: Low near 57 with areas of fog by dawn.
FRIDAY: Clouds and sunshine and a high near 71. A great day for the Krewe of Southdowns to roll.
SATURDAY: Starting off with maybe some areas of fog and 51 but by noon we'll be up to 67 for Spanish Town's parade a high temperature near 70. More clouds shift in through the afternoon.
SUNDAY - WEDNESDAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms through the end of the weekend and into the work week. Temperatures will generally remain in the middle and lower 70s during the day and middle and upper 50s to the lower 60s through Tuesday.
LONG TERM: It looks like there could be a cold snap in our future...the weekend of the the 16th and 17th. Stay tuned for updates.
