Friday will be another pleasant day, but it is going to be warmer as the southerly winds persist over Baton Rouge. Expect mostly sunny skies with highs in the lower 70s. Friday Night will be partly cloudy with some patchy fog and it will be mild with lows only in the mid 50s.
Weekend Forecast: The warmer weather continues all weekend even though a trough of low pressure will move across the Southeast U.S. on Saturday. We will have partly cloudy skies with a few sprinkles possible. Highs will be in the mid 70s. Saturday Night will be partly cloudy with some fog. Lows will only drop to the upper 50s.
Sunday is expected to be another nice day with a mix of sun and clouds. It will still be warm with highs in the upper 70s. Sunday Night will be partly cloudy with some fog possible. Low temperatures will stay mild as they fall to the mid 50s.
Tropical Outlook: We have 2 days left in the 2012 hurricane season and everything remains quiet. Therefore, tropical cyclone formation is not expected through Friday.
