Thanksgiving: Wonderfully sunny and warm. Highs in the middle 70s with very few clouds. A South wind 5-10mph.
Black Friday Forecast: If you're heading out to go shopping early, you'll only need a light jacket. Temperatures will be in the lower 50s and upper 40s. By late afternoon a cold front will pass through Baton Rouge and clouds will be increasing as it passes. A warm mild day with highs in the mid 70s before the front passes.
Weekend Forecast: Much colder air moves into Baton Rouge behind the cold front. Sunny and cool on Saturday with highs in the mid 60s. Saturday Night the bottom drops out as lows plummet to the upper 30s!!
A little warmer on Sunday afternoon with a few clouds returning making it mostly sunny. Highs will be in the upper 60s. Increasing clouds on Sunday night as another cold front approaches Louisiana. Lows will be warmer only falling into the upper 40s.
Tropical Outlook: Tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the next 2 days.
