Not too bad for a day full of shopping...if that's your thing. Increasing clouds through the afternoon with the approach and subsequent passage of a cold front. I'm not expecting rain with the front, there could be a few sprinkles but primarily there will be clouds and a shift in the wind before the temperatures cool down.
Black Friday Forecast: By late afternoon a cold front will pass through Baton Rouge and clouds will be increasing as it passes. A warm mild day with highs near 75 before the front passes and lows drop into the upper 30s.
SATURDAY: Much colder air moves into Baton Rouge behind the cold front. Sunny and cool on Saturday with highs in the mid 60s. Saturday Night the bottom drops out as lows plummet to the middle 30s!!
SUNDAY: Sunshine continues but it stays cool. Highs will be in the upper 60s. Increasing clouds on Sunday night as another cold front approaches Louisiana. Lows will be warmer only falling into the upper 40s.
NEXT WEEK: A 60% chance of rain on Monday afternoon and into Tuesday morning. Temperatures will top out in the low 70s for Monday and Tuesday and overnight lows will be in the low and then upper 50s before dropping back to the 40s Wednesday after the front passes. Highs slide back to the upper 60s for the remainder of the week with a mix of sun and clouds.
Tropical Outlook: Tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the next 2 days.
Enjoy the weekend!
